Exit the M4 at junction 49 (Pont Abraham Services).
Take the A483 towards Ammanford (signposted Llandeilo/Ammanford).
Continue for about 5 miles to Ammanford.
At the roundabout, take the third exit onto the A474 (Ffordd William Walker), signposted Glanaman, Garnant, Brynamman.
Stay on the A474 for about 5 miles:
Glanaman is the first village you’ll reach.
Continue on to Garnant.
Approximate driving time from the M4 to Glanaman or Garnant is 25 minutes (depending on traffic).
Take a train to Ammanford on the Heart of Wales Line.
Direct trains run from Swansea, Llanelli and Shrewsbury.
From Cardiff, take a train to Swansea first and change for Ammanford.
From Ammanford train station:
Walk (5 to 10 minutes) or take a short taxi ride to Ammanford bus station.
Take First Cymru Bus 129 to Glanaman or Garnant.
The bus stops along the A474.
Runs approximately every hour on weekdays (limited service on Sundays).
